Foundation wins Best Charity in N. Virginia!


RICHMOND, Va. (May 2, 2019) — Virginia Living’s eighth annual Best of Virginia issue will hit newsstands May 16. The statewide guide to all that is “best” in Virginia dining, shopping, and doing, Best of Virginia 2019 lists the more than 1,500 winners from the magazine’s Readers’ Survey, conducted in January. More than 5,000 people voted in 106 categories, covering the best in Arts, Culture & Entertainment, Living & Recreation, Food & Drink, Shopping, and Services across the state.

Best of Virginia 2019 is the guide to everything from the best shopping mall in Northern Virginia and the best barbecue restaurant in the Southwest, to the best hotel in Eastern Virginia, the best hospital in Central Virginia, and the best outdoor adventure in the Shenandoah Valley.Plus, the issue features bonus stories with the theme, Living the Wild Life. They include native plants and animals, trailblazing restaurants with stunning views and unique foods, and “wild” ideas that made us turn our heads! Stories on gold-mining adventures, the world’s biggest bunny,chainsaw artists, vacationing in a yurt, a cidery with a labyrinth maze, and more await readers in this issue.

The Foundation of Blue Ridge Orthopaedics has placed first for Best Charity in Northern Virginia. Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center also placed first for best Orthopaedic Practice in Northern Virginia, and Bodies in Motion Race event placed first for Best Charity Event in Northern Virginia for 2019.
